| Suisun Marsh Pheasant Club By Rocky Ferraro Our club members Bob Kruger, Roger Hatin, Harold Whitmore, Darold Givens and guest, Jim Robertson had a pheasant shoot-out at Suisun Marsh Pheasant Club on Sunday, September 14. They had 25 birds planted in field #33 and our great hunters and dogs, Ruby, Brandy and Murphy were able to get 24 birds. This day was a special event at Suisun Marsh and the anticipation was so thick you could cut it with a knife. This being the case, hunters in other fields were guarding their pheasants. It all worked out with pheasants doing what they do and sometimes flying from field to field. This is usually ok but for this event, they had a pay for so many pheasants and so fields were being guarded like a mother hen watches her chicks. Here is the proof. |
